» Almora:
The town is an amalgamation of social & cultural influences of Kumaon. Traces of the old Chand Forts, beautifully carved wooden homes decorated with traditional murals reflect its rich heritage.

» Bhimtal:

Bhim Tal has an island, to the north-east side, which is an exquisite gem in the middle of the lake. It is situated within the range of temple bells, which have been chiming for the last 300 years in the 17th century.

» Deoprayag:

Deoprayag is regarded as the most complete showcase of legends, heritage & traditions. 70 km from Rishikesh , here the Bhagirathi from Gaumukh & the Alaknanda from Satopanth unite and for most Indians, this confluence is no less holy than the Sangam at Allahabad.

» Doonagiri:

Doonagiri is a place of religious importance. It is famous for its temples of Durga from where one can have a good view of Gogas valleys.

» Gopeshwar:

The district headquarter of the Chamoli is situated at an elevation of 1308m amidst beautiful mountain ranges, terrace farms and small lakes, lt is a picturesque place, 10 km from Chamoli with salubrious climate.

» Haridwar:

» Rishikesh:

The lake near the Valley of Flowers at the height of 4329 m discovered by Sikh Havildar Sohan Singh in 1930, was identified with the one referred to by Guru Govind Singh - the tenth Guru of the sikh faith.
